Our Service

At Walker Print Ltd, we pride ourselves in the traditional bookbinding side of our company. We specialise in the restoration and repair of the books that are brought to us. Where the original binding is either missing or beyond repair, using very traditional methods and keeping as much of the original binding as possible the new binding will reflect the age of the book, in style, colour and presentation as a whole.

All our repairs are done using traditional methods of restoration and binding completely by hand. Full repair of damaged paper and bindings are carried out with the utmost of care as we understand just how much your book means to you.

Every repair is completely different. Whether the book is damaged from water, smoke, age related wear and tear or dog (yes, we have repaired books half eaten by the family pet), it is essential that we see the condition of the book before we can evaluate the work required. This may include leaving your book with us for a day or two so we can appraise it fully. This way we can give you the best advice possible and discuss with you the various options available based on your requirements.
